Cancelation Policy

Our hospital strives to provide exceptional veterinary care to our clients and patients in a timely manner. As you have likely noticed, our time slots fill up very quickly, and we often are booking out weeks, if not months, in advance for routine appointments. We have seen a significant increase in last-minute cancellations and no-shows, which has made it necessary for us to enact a new cancellation policy.

If you cannot make your pet’s scheduled appointment, we now require that you call our office at least one business day (24 hours or more) in advance to cancel. Cancelling as soon as possible allows us to offer that time slot to another patient in need of care. We often have more sick patients than available time slots, and this helps us accommodate those on the waitlist in a timely manner.

A $50 cancellation fee will be charged if an appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice or less than one business day (for Monday appointments). If the appointment is cancelled 2 hours or less prior, a $75 no-show fee will be applied. This fee must be paid before scheduling another appointment.

We provide multiple appointment reminders, including text/email notifications 7 days and 2 days prior, as well as a phone call 1 day before. If we are unable to reach you by phone, a voicemail and text/email reminder will also be sent.
